Four new Overlanders have joined us over the last two months – we are so lucky to have Nat, Ben, Siboney, and Dyami here in the San Antonio summertime and beyond!
Nat comes to Overland from the frozen tundra of Portland, Maine and has successfully thawed-out after six weeks in San Antonio. He brings design and project management experience from previous offices in Philadelphia, Santa Fe, and Portland where he designed civic and educational buildings. Nat is thrilled to join the Pheasants and is knee-deep in the design for an exciting Hotel and Mixed-Use development in Midland, Texas.
Ben is a recent UT Austin grad with interests in writing, martial arts, and China. He is married, brand new to San Antonio, and enjoying working with Charles, Jim and Bob on the Pittsburgh Botanic Garden and Floodgates.
Siboney, a San Antonio native, joined Overland Partners as a designer to work on Edwards Residence, a single-family home in Midland, Texas. After graduating from Cornell University with a Bachelor of Architecture she returned to work on residential projects in her childhood neighborhood. She thrives on her community involvement with the Guadalupe Cultural Arts Center and the AIA San Antonio Latinos in Architecture Committee. When she is not preparing her Airbnb rental in Southtown to welcome San Antonio visitors, she is dancing flamenco/cumbia/salsa, casting rockite or eating nachos.
Dyami is a native to San Antonio, and has just recently moved back after spending a year in Houston upon graduating from the University of Texas at Austin. He strongly believes in the positive, direct impact that architecture can have on each and every person, and is interested in the social impact of the spaces that we design as architects. He is currently working on the Stanly Ranch Resort in Napa.
