I came to Overland almost eleven years ago and during that time, I wanted to start a family. Overland embraced a work/life balance that made it possible to be a working mother of two young children. Before departing on my second maternity leave almost five years ago, I encouraged leadership to increase the number of women in the studio to reflect a more diverse and inclusive culture. Since then, all new hires including interns, designers, architects, administration, and client development has been comprised of approximately 48.7 percent women. – Michelle Stedman
